What is Seedy Saturday?
Seedy Saturday is an annual event that provides access to heritage seeds, plant and garden supplies, as well as opportunities to gain knowledge about gardening on Central Vancouver Island. Feel free to browse all that we have to offer:
• In the SEED SWAP room, you can share your saved seeds with other local gardeners, or just buy seeds others have saved.
• MASTER GARDENERS are on hand to help with your gardening questions.
• DROP-IN DEMONSTRATIONS on garden-related topics.
• Local garden-related VENDORS have their seeds, plants, and related goods for sale.
• DOOR PRIZES.
• Various not-for-profit EXHIBITORS providing information.
• Buy a RAFFLE ticket.
• Have a snack, lunch, or beverage at the SEEDY CAFE.
• CHILDREN’S ACTIVITY.
