bauta-seed-securityIf you’re concerned about seed diversity, and preservation of a wide variety of seed for sharing among the general population, you may be interested in learning about a program led by Gretchen Bauta, of the Bauta and Weston Families in Canada. “It is delivered by USC Canada, in partnership with Seeds of Diversity Canada and through the generous support of The W. Garfield Weston Foundation.”
“The Bauta Family Initiative on Canadian Seed Security is building a national movement to conserve and advance seed biodiversity, keep seed in the public domain, and promote ecological seed production*.
